This study describes KiTEC's work on completing an assessment report for SecurAcath, which found that the device was cost effective for people who have long-term peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and clinically non-inferior to its comparators, StatLock and suturing. This led to a positive recommendation in NICE MTG34 "SecurAcath for securing percutaneous catheters."
